I used my HGV ClubPoints and booked a Studio at Sedona Summit Resort, a Hilton Vacation Club. I’ve been very satisfied with the additional resorts available through HGV Max, which is one reasons I upgraded and added 35,000 Points to my account.

A Suite With A View

My Studio was on the second floor and had a good view of the hills and surrounding mountains. Sedona is a semi-arid desert, so expect mountains with interesting rock formations.

I enjoyed my morning coffee on the outdoor balcony or an evening drink while watching the sunset.

The Studio

One of the wonderful features of the Studio was its kitchenette with a two-burner stovetop. This is convenient if one or two people travel and want to leverage the kitchenette.

I tend to use the kitchen for breakfast and lunch, then use the outdoor grills for dinner. Obviously, there are wonderful restaurants in Sedona, so eating out is also an option.

I also loved the full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher. The kitchenette is fully stocked, with pans stored neatly under the stovetop and dishes above the refrigerator.

The rest of the Studio had plenty of space and included a medium TV, a sofa bed and a queen-sized bed. The bed was comfortable.

You could watch TV from the bed or couch. There was also plenty of storage for hanging clothes.

The Amenities

There were plenty of pools and hot tubs around the resort, including adults-only and kid-friendly pools. I received a map of the resort when checking in to get a sense of the layout. I could walk to almost any spot in the resort in about 10 minutes maximum. When I first arrived, I walked around and checked out the pools. With so many choices, you’ll find your favorite.

There were also shared laundry facilities, a fitness center and plenty of grills around the property. There was also a sales center if you would like to sit in on a membership review and learn about new features like a $100 resort credit for Premier+ Members. After all, there’s nothing like a free drink by the pool courtesy of Hilton Grand Vacations.
