Campfire

Located just a few blocks from the beach in Carlsbad, Campfire returns to the origins of cooking and hospitality. Guests can gather around a fire and share farm-to-table food with friends.

Campfire’s menu features dishes like the roasted whole fish, smoked duck, and jidori chicken for two. The dessert menu offers campfire classics such as s’mores. If you are part of a larger group, you can order the ‘camp feast’ and enjoy a five-course meal.

Campfire offers fun for families, including a large teepee outside for kids to play in.

Barrel Republic

San Diego is home to some of the best craft breweries in the United States , and Barrel Republic is a great place to sample some of the top local beers. Barrel Republic uses a self-pour tap system. Simply swipe your personalized wristband and select from the 52 beers and six wines on tap.

Pair your brew with a selection of all-American bar fare like bacon-wrapped pork belly and crispy avocado grilled cheese. Try the vegan wild mushroom “French Dip” and the 100% chuck Barrel burger on a brioche bun.

Barrel Republic regularly partners with local breweries to host ‘tap takeovers’ and exclusive beer releases. Check their calendar for other social events, such as creative paint nights and competitive weekly trivia.

Blue Ocean Robata & Sushi Bar

The Robata cooking style originated centuries ago in Japan. Fishermen encased charcoal in stone or sand, providing both a source of heat and a cooking space on their boats. The chefs at Blue Ocean use the same grilling style to maintain precise temperatures.

In addition to the grilled dishes, Blue Ocean also features a sushi menu with fresh, local fish.

Before or after dinner you can enjoy a French wine tasting in Paon's retail wine shop.

Pizza Port

Pizza Port is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Stop by for a local pie and beer to cap off your San Diego beach day.

Pizzas are categorized by: Original, Anti-Wimpy, and Create Your Own. Order the Pizza Laguna with the signature whole-grain beer crust. Or try the Pizza Carlsbad with pesto, mesquite grilled chicken, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and feta cheese.

Choose from a wide variety of local beers to pair with your pizza pie. The Pizza Port locations in San Diego collectively have won more than 91 medals/awards from the Great American Beer Festival.
