Charles Woodson

Career Highlights

• Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback and one of football’s most decorated players. After winning the Heisman Trophy in college, he earned AP Rookie of the Year and AP Player of the Year honors, nine Pro Bowl selections, a Super Bowl title and the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award during 18 seasons with the NFL’s Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers.
• He was the first NFL player to accumulate 50 interceptions and 20 sacks, and his 13 career defensive touchdowns are tied for the most in NFL history.

Fun Facts

• In winning the Heisman in 1997, he beat out Peyton Manning and became the only defensive player to win the award to date.
• During his time playing near the Napa Valley in Oakland, he developed an interest in winemaking. He now has his own wine label, Intercept by Charles Woodson, which includes a limited-edition Hall of Fame Cabernet Sauvignon.
• In 2009, he established the Charles Woodson Clinical Research Fund at his alma mater University of Michigan’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, fulfilling his lifelong dream to be a symbol of hope for sick children.
