Welcome to my 2-Bedroom Suite at Maui Bay Villas, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club.
One of my favorite parts of a trip is walking into my room for the first time and exploring where I will stay during my vacation. As the door closed behind me, I stood still, admiring my surroundings for a few moments. This is what I saw.
Gorgeous In-Suite Kitchen
It was as though I had stepped into my apartment. The kitchen was inviting, and I pictured my friends and family gathering around the dining table, filling the space with laughter.
The appliances, from the five-burner electric stovetop to the large dishwasher, were stainless steel. The French-door refrigerator was pristine, with plenty of space for a week’s worth of groceries, plus a drawer freezer and ice maker. All the appliances were brand new, ready and waiting to make delicious meals with easy clean-up.
Excited about what else I would find, I opened every drawer in the kitchen. Inside was a beautiful collection of small appliances, pots, pans, utensils, tools and cookware. Dishes, bowls, cups and glasses of all varieties and a complete six-person setting were also tucked away in the cabinets. I also found plenty of supplies, from coffee fixings to cleaning products.
I ran my hand over the ridges of the textured dining table (with room to seat six) as I turned to the living room.
Relaxing Living Room and Open-Air Balcony
Overall, the living room is spacious and inviting. I tested out the cutest couch and chairs. Everything was supportive and comfortable, and the decor was unique. I loved the color scheme, wood accents and creative furnishings. It also had a sofa bed and 65-inch, flat-screen TV.
I then stepped out to the balcony (also called a lanai). It was the perfect setting for family dinners or morning coffee and pastries. As I looked out, I imagined Maui Bay Villas as a finished resort and found myself yearning to return.
Comfy Bedrooms and Modern Bathrooms
The primary bedroom had all the features I needed: a beautiful king-size bed, flat screen TV and a blackout curtain controlled by a wall panel. I especially enjoyed the reading lights and easy-to-reach power sources. I spent time lounging by the window on the chaise lounge and reading my Maui guidebook.
The gorgeous primary bathroom had a full-length mirror, a sliding door shower and an abundance of towels and toiletries. I enjoyed the vanity area for getting ready for a night on the town. The plush bathrobes were a special touch I had yet to see at any other resort.
In the hall closet, I found the stacked washer and dryer. I put them to good use with my beach towels, bathing suits and beach blanket. I asked for more detergent, and it was delivered right away.
The second bedroom was well laid out and had the same features as the primary bedroom but with two full-size beds instead of a king. It was the kind of room I would happily share with my friends on a girl’s trip. The second bathroom had all of the essentials and a relaxing rainfall shower.
I spent time admiring the artwork and sculptural pieces in each room. The decor spoke to the beauty of the nearby ocean, and the rooms were full of warm light.
The Suite was everything I needed to feel at home while on vacation.
