When we considered upgrading to HGV Max, we learned about HGV Ultimate Access*, which allowed us to participate in small group events, concerts with big-name entertainers and excursions around the world. Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing several HGV Ultimate Access events. Each was special in its own way. Here are a sampling of events offered by HGV Ultimate Access.
HGV Live!
Our first event was an HGV Live! concert in Orlando with Sara Evans. A bus picked us up at Parc Soleil, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club and transported to Hard Rock Live at Universal CityWalk. We were seated three tables from the stage near a dance floor. We enjoyed a buffet-style dinner and a fully stocked bar throughout the evening.
This private concert felt exclusive and special. We met other Hilton Grand Vacations Members and learned about their exciting trips and tips.
Not only did Sara Evans perform some of her most popular songs, but she also brought her daughter, who sang as well. Sara encouraged people to get up and dance, and the response was great. We even got a high-five from her while dancing. What a great first experience with HGV Ultimate Access.
Our next event was another HGV Live! concert in Orlando a few months later. This time, we had the privilege of seeing Lee Brice perform. He was truly entertaining — playing guitar, singing and telling stories. Although the menu was slightly different, the setup was the same as the event with Sara Evans. Hilton Grand Vacations handled everything from transportation to dinner and cocktails.
This time, we were fortunate enough to sit right in front of the stage. It really felt like a private concert again. Lee Brice was amazing.
HGV Members Table
Beyond the exclusive concerts and the prestigious Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, Hilton Grand Vacations Ultimate Access also offers HGV Members Table events. HGV Members Table allows us to experience new foods, wine and entertainment while meeting fellow Members.
We’ve been fortunate to attend several HGV Members Table events.
Titanic Tour In Branson, Missouri
While staying at The Suites at Fall Creek in Branson, Missouri, we attended a dinner and tour of the Titanic Museum. We ate a catered meal at the resort.
After dinner, we boarded a shuttle and went to the museum for an exclusive, after-hours tour of the Titanic’s artifacts — a stunning collection worth more than $4 million dollars. The Titanic tour guides were dressed in period pieces and performed a murder mystery for our group while touring the exhibit.
Murder Mystery In Scottsdale, Arizona
Our first event was a murder mystery dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy during our stay at Scottsdale Villa Mirage, a Hilton Vacation Club. It was so much fun. Again, Hilton Grand Vacations picked us up from the resort and brought us to the restaurant. We found our assigned tables and headed to the open bar, mingling with other Members. We were then assigned as characters to participate in the mystery. Little did we know that we were integral parts to the evening.
The mystery began as our family-style meal was presented, including spinach artichoke dip, Asiago-crusted shrimp, four-cheese ravioli, lasagna, salmon and roasted garlic broccoli. During dessert, our characters began to participate. I was brought up front to sing and dance with one of the characters. Shortly thereafter, Mike was brought up to teach the others a dance. And, to top it off, I won a prize for solving the mystery.
This was truly a top-notch, fun-filled event with great entertainment, tasty food and enjoyable company. Check out our full review of Scottsdale.
A Taste Of Scottsdale, Arizona
The next event was a food tour of Scottsdale. We were picked up from Scottsdale Links Resort, a Hilton Vacation Club via shuttle to downtown Scottsdale. There, we met with our tour guides. While strolling through Old Town, we stopped at four restaurants for a “taste.”
We sampled BBQ nachos at Bootleggers Modern American Smokehouse, Thai-inspired dishes at Malee’s Thai Bistro, a wine tasting at The Wine Collective of Scottsdale and gelato at Gelato Cimmino. Along the way, we met a couple from North Carolina and became friends with them during our stay.
Wine Tour In Sedona, Arizona
During our stay at Sedona Summit, a Hilton Vacation Club, we experienced Verde Valley’s wineries. We started at Alcantara Vineyard and Winery for an informative tour with one of the winemakers.
After the tour, we enjoyed an al fresco dinner in the beautiful vineyard — with a three-piece band for ambiance. Dinner began with a cheese and fruit plate, followed by a Greek salad, Jasmine rice, freshly steamed vegetables and then a choice of either a salmon fillet or grilled filet mignon. The meal ended with carrot cake and buttermilk cocoa sponge cake.
Each of the courses were paired nicely with local Arizona wines, and we mingled with other Members.
