If your crew likes sunshine, sand and endless fun, Myrtle Beach is hard to beat. South Carolina's famed beach city boasts more than 60 miles of sand, a boardwalk full of activities, some of the best golf courses in the country and three Lowcountry Hilton Grand Vacations resorts for you to enjoy — a perfect place to bring your extended family together.

Here’s a three-day itinerary packed with things to do on a multigenerational getaway to Myrtle Beach.

The SkyWheel, a ferris wheel on the boardwalk of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, at sunset

Day 1

Start your South Carolina vacation at the beach. After building sandcastles and chasing waves, the younger generations can explore Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade. Along this 1.2-mile oceanfront walkway are thrill rides, surf shops, family-friendly eateries and the SkyWheel, an observation wheel that gives you a bird's-eye view of Myrtle Beach.

Another kid-approved attraction along the boardwalk is Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach. Stingrays, sharks, jellyfish and more make their home among more than 14,000 underwater creatures.

For Gen X and baby boomers, fishing is a great way to experience the ocean without dealing with sand. Take a charter boat for a full or half-day to cast lines for flounder, redfish, speckled trout and more.

Adventure-loving 20- to 50-somethings can check out Myrtle Beach Watersports for Jet Ski and boat rentals. Sign up for a guided dolphin tour if you’re feeling extra adventurous.

No matter your age, Broadway at the Beach offers plenty of shopping, dining, museums and other attractions.

Day 2

Adventure awaits travelers outside of the beach. Mellow out with Mother Nature by exploring Myrtle Beach State Park. Nestled within the peaceful oceanfront maritime forest are hiking trails, fishing piers and picnic shelters. A popular option for kids is earning a Habitat Patch by completing scavenger hunt bingo

See the city by electric bike. Rent an e-bike from Pedego Myrtle Beach and either take in the scenery on your own or with one of their organized group rides. Electric bikes allow cyclists of all ages to bike together.

Myrtle Beach's world-class golf courses attract every generation, from championship tees to magical mini-golf courses.

Day 3

After two days in the sun, take a day to rest and recharge. If young vacationers still have energy to burn, visit a trampoline park and let them jump, climb and play safely. Then, in the afternoon, check out The Market Common. This 114-acre outdoor retail, dining and entertainment complex offers fun things to do and restaurants for every taste.

For even more R&R, book a massage, facial or other pampering service at a premier spa, such as Spa 33Awakening Spa and Essence Day Spa. Thanks to the Grand Experiences Card available for Hilton Grand Vacations Members, you can treat the whole family to a relaxing afternoon.

Let the grandparents take the kids for the evening to dip in the pool and movie night in their Suite, so the parents can cut loose with Myrtle Beach’s nightlife. Enjoy a tasting at Duplin Winery, known for muscadine wine, made from actual American grapes. Or catch a show at Comedy Cabana.
