When you think of vacations, you probably think of crystal blue waters, lush greenery and white sand beaches. However, many destinations are known for their vivid colors, from Arizona’s red rock formations to France’s lavender fields.

Here are five perfectly pink destinations, whether the pink aesthetic of the “Barbie” movie inspired you or you want to add color to your next getaway.

Ka'anapali Beach and pink flowers in Maui, Hawaii

1. Maui, Hawaii

Did you know the official color of Maui is pink? Lokelani, the island’s official flower, is identifiable for its bright pink hue.

You probably won’t find this rose growing on the hillsides. However, visit Hale Hoʻikeʻike at the Bailey House, a Hawaiian history museum and check out the gardens for a chance to spot the lokelani.

Then stay at a rose-colored resort, Hilton Vacation Club Ka’anapali Beach, coming soon. Unwind on pastel pool chairs and sip a fruity drink in this pink paradise.

A pink sand beach in the Caribbean

2. St. Philip, Barbados

Pamper yourself in Barbados, starting at Crane Beach, one of the few pink sand beaches in the Caribbean. The waves at Crane Beach are perfect for boogie boarding or perusing a beach read.

The iconic hue is from the microscopic coral insects called foraminifera. Pieces of their brightly colored shells break up and mix in with bits of coral and sand, creating the pink color we all know and love.

After soaking in vitamin D, head to Serenity Spa at The Crane, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club for more self-care. Enjoy a rose petal massage, a perfectly pink pedicure or a guided yoga session on a cliff overlooking the beach.

Sunset at Lee Mountain in Sedona, Arizona

3. Sedona, Arizona

While Sedona is known for its vivid red rock formations, take an off-road Pink Jeep Tour. Chase the vortexes, ascend scenic vistas and spot ancient ruins nestled in the Verde Valley — while a tour guide handles all the logistics. You may even spot bright pink blooms on several varieties of cacti.

One of the best ways to see Sedona is at sunset. Catch the vivid hues of the setting sun on an evening hike of Bell Rock or Courthouse Butte. Or enjoy the changing skies from the balcony of a spacious Suite at Ridge on Sedona, a Hilton Vacation Club.

The pink sandstone exterior of Hawa Mahal in Jaipur, India

4. Jaipur, India

Jaipur, also known as the Pink City, has plenty of pink attractions to explore. The iconic color came about in 1876 when the city welcomed Albert Edward — the Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria’s son — by painting Jaipur with the most hospitable color: pink.

Visit Hawa Mahal – Palace of Wind for spectacular city views through intricately carved windows to let breezes flow through the building. The palace is also an architectural marvel; it’s the tallest building in the world without a foundation. Similarly grand is the City Palace of Jaipur, which combines Rajput, European and Mughal styles. Admire the vivid colors, learn about the rich history of Indian textiles at the textile gallery or wander through courtyards.

Check into Hilton Jaipur for easy access to the Pink City’s sights, and enjoy the sunset from the rooftop lounge.

Pink tulips and windmills near Amsterdam, The Netherlands

5. Amsterdam, The Netherlands

If you can tear yourself away from Amsterdam’s iconic architecture and museums, take a springtime day trip to Keukenhof Tulip Gardens and see millions of vivid tulips. After all, The Netherlands is the land of tulips.

Or drive through acres of flower fields in Bollenstreek, Holland’s flower bulb region, stopping for pictures along the picturesque rows of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils.

Back in Amsterdam, stop for a bite in the rose-colored Vegan Junk Food Bar or grab a pink drink at Pink Beach by Wondr.
